Disney’s Public Defecation Issues Grow as Yet Another Guest Poops in Ride Queue

Theme park queues aren’t always the most thrilling part of a Disney visit, but every now and then, they become the story. From impromptu brawls to guests attempting to sneak banned items into the parks, Disney has seen its fair share of unexpected moments. But sometimes, the chaos isn’t just disruptive—it’s downright disgusting.

A Disaster in the Mission: BREAKOUT! Queue

Visitors at Disney California Adventure’s Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! recently endured an experience they won’t soon forget—no matter how much they wish they could.

The ride, a popular reimagining of the former Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, drops guests in an unpredictable free-fall while Rocket Raccoon leads an escape mission. The queue winds through the Collector’s fortress, filled with artifacts from across the galaxy—though nothing could have prepared guests for what they encountered on this particular day.

According to a Reddit user, a guest had an unfortunate mishap but kept moving forward, leaving an unsanitary trail behind them. “I guess someone pooped themselves and decided to keep walking through so it was on the floor after you leave the first room and up the stairs,” the guest wrote.

The odor was reportedly overwhelming, with cast members struggling to manage the situation. “The poor cast members were gagging trying to figure it out,” the user noted. “It smelled SO bad.”

Disney staff limited access to affected areas, but the smell lingered throughout the queue, even as guests boarded the ride’s elevators. Speculation quickly followed, with some suggesting a medical issue was to blame. One Reddit commenter pointed to Disney’s updated Disability Access Service (DAS) policy, which removed accommodations for certain digestive conditions.

“Disney removed any digestive issues from their either ‘skip the line’ health rule or the ability to hold your place in line and come back, CMs have been instructed to tell people that they should get a wheelchair and be fine waiting. A friend thinks the previous incident was a colostomy bag, which makes sense,” the commenter wrote.

Cosmic Rewind’s Queue Disaster

This isn’t the first time a queue has turned into a sanitation nightmare. Earlier this month, EPCOT’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind had its own viral moment when a guest had a bathroom emergency in line.

Flower and garden festival didn’t sit well with somebody 😳 **update: it looks like it might’ve been a colostomy bag that burst in line. Please make Disney aware that DAS should be inclusive to all people with serious medical conditions 🫶🏼#guardiansofthegalaxy #guardians #cosmicrewind #disney #disneyworld #waltdisneyworld

One of Disney’s most ambitious coasters, Cosmic Rewind features Disney’s first-ever reverse launch and 360-degree rotating ride vehicles set to some of Peter Quill’s (Chris Pratt) favorite tunes. The queue, designed as the Wonders of Xandar pavilion, immerses guests in intergalactic storytelling—but unfortunately, it lacks in-line restrooms, a flaw that contributed to the recent incident.

A TikTok video showed stunned guests slowly pressing forward despite the scene unfolding around them. Unlike other attractions, Cosmic Rewind’s queue doesn’t have an in-line restroom, which likely played a major role in the incident. And with the ride only recently switching from a virtual queue to standby, some guests may have underestimated the wait time.
