Just weeks ahead of Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) hitting theaters, London has already welcomed its own slice of dinosaur chaos — no ferry to Isla Nublar required. Although technically, that’s not entirely true.

Jurassic World: The Experience officially opened its gates at NEON at Battersea Power Station on May 22. It offers UK guests an immersive walk-through attraction loaded with animatronic dinosaurs, film-inspired sets, and some genuine jump scares. A reimagined version of Jurassic World: The Exhibition, which toured cities like Manchester and London in recent years, this new iteration sharpens its focus and adds a few new teeth, too.

The exhibit takes guests through many zones, each tied to key moments and locations from the 2015 film, Jurassic World. Visitors start by passing through the familiar Jurassic World gates, then move through areas featuring herbivores, raptors, Gyrospheres, and finally, a face-to-face encounter with a roaring Tyrannosaurus Rex. One notable change from previous versions is that the Indominus Rex has been swapped out for a full-sized Carnotaurus.

Reactions from fans so far have been positive. “Had an absolutely brilliant time today,” one fan posted on Facebook. “It was thrilling, nostalgic, and a dream come true for a lifelong Jurassic fan.” Another visitor warned that the finale might be a little intense for younger kids — loud sound effects, flashing lights, and a vibrating floor all build to a sudden T-Rex reveal.

Jurassic World: The Experience arrives at a fitting time. With Jurassic World Rebirth just weeks from release, and Universal Studios now developing a UK theme park resort rumored to feature a Jurassic-themed land, the franchise is clearly expanding its footprint — and its fanbase. Not only that, but another Jurassic World: The Experience also recently opened its gates in Singapore.

For now, though, Londoners don’t have to wait for the next film to hear the roar of a predator in the dark. It’s echoing right across Battersea.
