FIRST LOOK photos have dropped of EPCOT’s newest attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Check out this stunning Disney Park queue!
It’s hard to believe that we are just months away from the opening of Walt Disney World Resort’s largest indoor roller coaster gearing up to open this summer. While Disney has yet to release an actual grand opening date, a Disney Executive did accidentally leak Memorial Day Weekend.
We have however seen excellent progress on the attraction with little peeks into what we can expect from this family-friendly attraction including height requirements and specialty gift shop.
Now, Disney has dropped some late-night photos of the queue we can expect to experience for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Destination D23 took to social media to share, “FIRST LOOK: See inside the queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This planetarium-style exhibition is the Galaxarium and it showcases planets, stars and other wonders that connect Earth and Xandar. This out-of-this-world attraction opens this summer at #EPCOT.”

We’re loving that blue hue… almost reminds us of Space Mountain‘s queue but the ceiling really takes it to a next level.
Did you spot the Star-Lord’s (AKA Peter Quill’s) mixed tape from Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) in the photo above? We also spot possible Cast Members checking out the queue in person.
Wow! It all seems to shine perfectly as it sets the stage for the exciting ride.
In the photo above you can see the backside of the Starblaster at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind which is the focal point for the entrance of the attraction.

Begin your adventure by touring the Galaxarium—a planetarium-like exhibition showcasing the similarities and differences between Xandar and Earth’s galaxies. You’ll even get to discover some of the incredible wonders of Xandar and learn about their technology.

Who else is SUPER ready to experience the Cosmic Rewind attraction located in the new World Discovery portion of the theme park? While we are keeping our fingers crossed Memorial Day Weekend is correct for opening, we’ll be sure to share the news as soon as Disney confirms the grand opening date.
