5. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
The fifth most popular attraction in 2022 is Magic Kingdom’s Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and we can see why. This thrill ride is categorized by roller coaster carts resembling mine carts which swing from side to side. This swinging effect, combined with the classic Snow White (1937) theming, creates an entirely unique experience.

4. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
In fourth place is Hollywood Studios’ Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, a thrill ride that is truly timeless. The spooky Twilight Zone (1959-1964) theming comes to life in this elevator-dropping attraction, making Guests feel as if they’re in an episode of the revolutionary TV series. Fun fact, when this attraction drops Guests down the elevator shaft, Guests are actually being pulled down instead of free-falling, making for an ultra-thrilling experience.

3. Slinky Dog Dash
Hollywood Studios is also home to the third most popular Walt Disney World attraction. This thrill ride is excellent for the whole family, with exciting twists, turns, and at least one big drop! There’s nobody springier than Slink, and he’s happy to take Guests on a ride through Andy’s Mega Coaster Play Kit!

2. Avatar Flight of Passage
Over in Animal Kingdom lies Pandora: The World of Avatar, home to the second most popular ride of 2022. For many tribes of the indigenous species of Pandora, the Na’vi, taming an ikran (or a mountain banshee) is the final rite of passage into becoming an adult. This fantastic attraction gives Guests a chance to link with an Avatar and experience the exhilarating journey of riding a mountain banshee.
This attraction’s average wait time in 2022 was 96 minutes.

1. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
In first place is Hollywood Studios’ most ambitious attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and for a good reason! This attraction is easily one of the most immersive experiences at Walt Disney World, and its demand is tough to surpass. The Disney magic used to illustrate the illusion will have Guests wondering if they’ve truly entered another galaxy.
The average wait time for this ride was 110 minutes.
