Disney adults have an infamous reputation. Although what people define as a “Disney Adult” varies.

Some say it when referring to obnoxious guests, others use it when talking about someone over 18 who loves Disney, while specific individuals use it to trash Disney super fans (of all ages, shapes, and sizes).

But there’s nothing wrong with being a park guest over 18 years old who likes riding Dumbo The Flying Elephant or “it’s a small world.” However, some things experienced Disney park fans may do that get under the skin of other park guests.

What are some of these annoying things? Let’s explore…

Complaining About Other Park Guests

Part of being a true Walt Disney World Resort fan is sharing the experience with other theme park guests. Many first-time Disney Park visitors don’t know how to board TRON Lightcycle / Run or where to turn when the secret door opens in the Haunted Mansion queue.

But some irritable Disney adults will complain about crowds, lines, show seats, or anything else that hampers their experience. And although these irritations may be legitimate, it’s odd to witness a 40-year-old whine over the line of  “it’s a small world” or their seat on Expedition Everest.

About Steven Wilk

Steven has a complicated relationship with Disney. As a child, he visited Walt Disney World every few years with his family. But he never understood why kids his age (and older) were so scared of Snow White or Alien Encounter. He is a former participant of the Disney College Program (left early…long story), and he also previously worked in Children’s publishing, where he adapted multiple Disney movies and TV shows. He has many controversial opinions about Disney…like having a positive view of Michael Eisner, believing Return of the Jedi is superior to The Empire Strikes Back, and that Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge should have never been built (at least not at Hollywood Studios). Every year for the past two decades, Steven has visited either Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani or went on a Disney Cruise. He’s happy to share any and all knowledge of the Disney destinations (and he likes using parenthesis a lot…as well as ellipses…)
