Disney movie fans were thrilled when Disney announced sequels of both Enchanted (2007) and the Halloween favorite Hocus Pocus (1993).

The two movies are beloved for the magic they create, from spooky Salem witches to animated princess fantasy. And now, we finally know when we can put their release dates into our calendars.

Disney today, May 17, tweeted a first look at Amy Adams and Maya Rudolph in Disenchanted, along with its Thanksgiving release date on Disney’s streaming service:

Here’s your ?FIRST LOOK? at Amy Adams and Maya Rudolph in Disney’s #Disenchanted! See the Original movie streaming this Thanksgiving on @DisneyPlus!

The costumes look amazing! We can’t wait to see Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel return alongside Maya Rudolph and Jayma Mays on November 24, 2022.

The plot of Disenchanted has been kept pretty quiet, but we do know that the story is set ten years after Enchanted. Giselle, Robert, and Morgan have since moved from New York to the suburbs. When Giselle begins to question her happily ever after, she wishes her life was more like a perfect fairytale. However, her wish turns both her real life and her animated home of Andalasia upside down.

Disney has also conjured up the release date for Hocus Pocus 2, with the studio announcing on May 17 that the Halloween movie will hit the Disney+ streaming service on September 30!

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are reprising their roles from Kenny Ortega’s 1993 original as the Sanderson sisters of Salem,

Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, and Belissa Escobedo join the cast as three teenagers who must stop the witches when they return to the land of the living for another night of Halloween antics. Doug Jones also returns as Billy Butcherson alongside a host of new faces, including Hannah Waddingham, Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Paige Henderson, and Nina Kitchen.

In Hocus Pocus 2, it’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters who were executed for practicing witchcraft, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to figure out how to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before midnight on All Hallow’s Eve.

We can’t wait to grab the popcorn for two amazing Disney movie nights this fall!
