Let’s say you covered all of the obvious attractions on your list during your Walt Disney World vacation.

You’ve ridden Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom a hundred times. You’ve walked yourself in circles throughout the World Showcase in EPCOT. You’ve even experienced Flight of Passage in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom so many times that you can recite the pre-show word for word.

Did you know, however, that there are still so many more things to do on Disney property?

One of the best family-friendly activities to be found at the Walt Disney World Resorts, other than the Parks, would have to be The Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf, which is located across from Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resorts.

In true Disney style, this mini-golf course offers two 18-hole courses for Guests to choose from, Fantasia Gardens and Fantasia Fairways. Both of these mini-golf courses are themed to the classic Disney movie, Fantasia (1940).

Walt Disney World has recently announced that the Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course will be closing to undergo refurbishment from May 9 through May 22, 2022, so that they can replace the carpets and tee pads. But don’t worry, Disney also announced that the Fantasia Fairway Miniature Golf Course will remain open.

According to the Walt Disney World website, The Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course invites you to join the reverie as you aim through twirling obstacles, cross fanciful fountains, and discover musical surprises.”

The Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course resembles a traditional 18-hole golf course built in a miniature scale, which includes sand traps, bunkers, water hazards and sloping greens.

The Walt Disney World website says that “this course emphasizes skill over chance,” and then goes on to say, “Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course is an exciting challenge, where par-3 and par-5 holes range in length from 63 to 109 feet long.”

That’s quite the course. If you do not feel that you or someone in your party has the skill for this course, then you can still find two additional mini-golf courses over at Winter Summerland at Blizzard Beach water park.

To play a round of mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens costs $14 for adults and $12 for children aged 3 to 9. Children under the age of 3 are free. If you would like to see if you have what it takes to conquer the Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course than you can make a reservation by calling (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529.

Remember what Walt Disney said, “Adults are only kids grown up,” so have fun some fun as you putt around these whimsical courses with Disney’s Hollywood Studios as a backdrop.
