Disney Park Offers “Waiting List” on Full Park Reservation Days

While it looks like the not-so-popular Disney Park Pass Reservation system at Walt Disney World Resort and other Disney Parks is here to stay, one Disney Park has now revealed an adjustment. Disneyland Paris now offers a “waiting list” when no Annual Passholder Park reservations are available for a specific day.

Disneyland Paris has been the center of attention as it celebrates its 30th Anniversary with a fantastic new drone show and enticing experiences, with Disney fans around the globe readily jumping on a plane to enjoy the theme park experiences.

But, just like Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort in the states, Disneyland Paris requires Guests to not only have a ticket but also have a Park Pass Reservation. Nothing is more frustrating than being an Annual Passholder eager to visit the Disney Park, only to find there is no Park Reservation open for the day.

It seems like Disneyland Paris is well aware of this frustration and is working to mend the issue by introducing a “Waiting List” for its Annual Passholders.

@DLPReport took to social media to announce, “A new “Waiting List” feature is now available for AP Park Reservations. Guests are able to sign up for the list on some of the sold out days (marked in blue) and the system will automatically notify them if and when their reservation is confirmed.”

How does the “waiting list” work exactly? Disney notes, “When the Disney Parks are full, you can join the waiting list. If your date becomes available, your registration will be confirmed automatically. We’ll send you a confirmation e-mail straight to your inbox!”

@DLPReport goes on to note, “Once the request is made you’ll get an email, and are able to see and manage your requests under a new “Waiting List” section in the system:”

While this new “waiting list” feature is currently only available for Disneyland Paris, we’re curious to see if it will make its way over to the states.

Disneyland Pars was the first to introduce “Disney Premier Access,” which is similar to Walt Disney World’s Disney Genie+ and Lightning Lane skipping the line experience. In addition, Disneyland Paris recently introduced the “Premier Access Ultimate Pass,” which is a one-time fee for skipping the lines.

Only time will tell if Disneyland Paris will become the Disney Park trend setter for this new “waiting list” feature for Annual Passholders.
