In fact, visiting Walt Disney World is more expensive than ever do to recent price raises on tickets, food, merchandise, and more. Even Disney+ has become more expensive, making it more costly to experience the Disney magic from home.

In short, everyone knows that the name ‘Disney’ comes with a considerable price tag attached. However, the Walt Disney Company has decided to throw Guests a bone with recent Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort perks. From Park Reservations not being fully required for Annual Passholders to free parking at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Walt Disney Company has heard Guests’ complaints and has finally begun taking action.
However, one of the latest perks was totally out of the blue: free Disney PhotoPass downloads.

For Guests who purchase Genie+ (or Genie Plus), digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass attraction pictures will be free of cost! From the official announcement on Disney Parks Blog:
Beginning in the next few months, guests purchasing Disney Genie+ service will also receive digital downloads of their Disney PhotoPass attraction photos, taken in the park on the day of their purchase, at no additional charge.

Usually, these downloads of Disney PhotoPass attraction photos require an additional package, costing either $99 (for Annual Passholders) or $149.
Although Genie+ is a paid service that can quickly become expensive (depending on the size of the party visiting Disney Parks and the cost of Genie+ on the day they’re visiting), this new perk may save Guests money on some of the best souvenirs! Attraction photos make some of the best family pictures while visiting Walt Disney World, and now Guests can download them for free thanks to this new perk.
