There is nothing less magical than a fall during a show. At Disney World, Guests can enjoy various forms of entertainment. From attractions to shows to nighttime spectaculars, there is always something to watch and, most of all, be in awe of. All four Parks, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios offer entertainment for all ages.

What’s most unique is that what is offered varies from Park to Park, making it special for each visit to that specific Park. Animal Kingdom has Festival of the Lion King, a larger-than-life show featuring all the classics from the hit film The Lion King (1994). Magic Kingdom offers Mickey’s Magical Friendship Fare in front of Cinderella Castle. The musical extravaganza features Mickey Mouse and Friends as Guests watch their favorite characters on stage.

The daytime performances are always a fun experience, but nothing tops the nighttime spectaculars at Disney. Each Park has their own evening show that is their way of ending the night as the Park ends. EPCOT Forever celebrates the past, future, and present with fireworks. Magic Kingdom is known for its fireworks show as a staple in every Disney fan’s trip. “Cap off your day at Walt Disney World Resort with the unforgettable sights & sounds of famous Disney fireworks and brilliant light shows,” Disney details.

Animal Kingdom showcases the Tree of Life with mesmerizing color while the tree awakens with its beauty. Hollywood Studios may have one of my favorite shows, but it is only featured during the evenings. Fantasmic! has become a crowd favorite featuring iconic Disney characters, with Mickey Mouse as the show’s main character. “Be there as the forces of good and evil battle it out in Mickey’s dream during this extravagant open-air nighttime musical,” Disney writes.

The show has a 40-foot-tall dragon, Disney Villains, and, in Disney fashion, fireworks. During the 29-minute show, a character took a fall while it was caught on video.

Character Falls During Fantasmic!

A Guest visiting Hollywood Studios was recording Fantasmic! as most Guests do when they capture a character fall. In one element of the show, two ship levels are full of Disney characters. From Pluto to Goofy, to Anna to Chip and Dale, it’s a packed house (or boat). Not only does a character fall, but they happen to fall on top of another character below them.

On the TikTok below, Guests can see Dopey from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) fall from the top level of the ship. Additionally, he is seen falling down to the second level on top of Goofy. The video from 2016 recently resurfaced on the popular social media platform, with over 184,000 views.

Poor Dopey took much more than a tumble, and we can only hope that the Cast Member inside his costume was okay after the fall. Quickly, you can see Chip ‘n’ Dale stop from their performance to help Dopey get back up on his feet. For viewers, it must have been shocking and quite scary to witness. Though the video stops as he gets back up, it seems he was still able to keep his character head on, which is impressive after such a fall.

There was no statement or further news if the character was okay or went on with the performance. We can only hope they kept on with the show and, hopefully, a funny story to share without serious injuries.
